Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 3: Two constituents of INDIA bloc in Jammu and Kashmir started exchanging barbs after the National Conference announced Gujjar leader Mian Altaf as the party candidate for the prestigious Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha seat. On Wednesday PDP and the National Conference officially announced they would compete against each other for the three Lok Sabha seats in Kashmir. Mehbooba Mufti of the PDP has blamed Omar Abdullah of the National Conference for not leaving them any choice but to run in the elections. NEW DELHI, Apr 3: The Union Home Ministry has cancelled the registration of at least five NGOs for alleged violation of various provisions of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, sources said on Tuesday. The NGOs whose registrations have been cancelled are CNI Synodical Board of Social Service, Voluntary Health Association of India, Indo-Global Social Service Society, Church’s Auxiliary for Social Action, and Evangelical Fellowship of India, they said. With the cancellation of their Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) registration, these NGOs will no longer be able to receive foreign contributions nor utilise the existing available funds.
