Jehangir Rashid Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Sept 26: Like the previous regimes the present dispensation of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) in the state has failed to appoint people in government departments in due course of time. Not to talk of the lower staff posts of top notch officials are also lying vacant. Although hundreds of posts have been referred to recruitment agencies there has been no headway vis-à-vis appointment of people on such posts. The fast track recruitment has remained a claim so far and the process has remained to papers only. The delay in recruitment process has led to disillusionment among the youth of the state. Official sources said that 79 posts of Block Development Officer (BDO) were referred to General Administration Department (GAD) by the Public Service Commission (PSC), but the recruitment process was not followed up to this moment of time.
