Jammu, Nov 7: Jammu and Kashmir Innovators Forum (JKIF) today paid rich tributes to renowned scientist Sir CV Raman on his 125th birth anniversary. As per press release, CEO JKIF Er Mirza Idrees Ul Haq said the main motive behind celebrating birth anniversary of sir CV Raman to demonstrate the relevance of science their daily lives.
While underscoring the role scientists in broadening the understanding of planet in making our societies more sustainable, he said every year, non-governmental organizations, scientific research institutions, professional associations, universities, municipalities, the media, science teachers, schools and others organized such types of programs.
He appealed the Chief Minister Abdullah Omar to make policy for new scientific and technological innovations in the state. |
