Jammu, Aug 23: The Inter District Division level tournament of Judo for all age groups (AAG) for boys and girls got underway here at Sports Stadium Hiranagar under the chairmanship of DDC Kathua, Ramesh Kumar (IAS) and DYSSO Kathua, Sunil Kumar.
According to press release, in all, 63 players of three districts viz Jammu, Kathua and Reasi were participating in this tournament.
In below 20 kg category Manoj Kumar of Kathua routed Aditya singh of Jammu, in below 30 kg Shivam Bloria of Jammu beaten Irshad of Kathua, in below 35 kg Tahir Hussain of Kathua conquered Ayush Raina of Jammu, in below 40 kg Arun Sharma of Jammu outplayed Vishal Kumar of Kathua, in below 45 kg Munish Sharma of Jammu thrashed Vishal of Kathua, in below 50 kg Suraj Partap of Jammu defeated Rahul Choudhary of Kathua and in above 50 kg Varun Sharma of Jammu thrashed Ajay Kumar of Reasi.
Meanwhile, in below 40 kg (boys) Vipul Verma of Kathua defeated Like Parvez of Reasi, below 45 kg Rohit Rajdan of Jammu thrashed Ravinder of Kathua, below 50 kg Areen Kotwal of Jammu Defeated Liaqat Ali ofKathua, in below 55 Shivam Sharma of Jammu whitewashed Arif of Reasi, in below 60 kg Ketan Arora of Jammu defeated Sonu Sharma of Kathua, below 65 kg Ayush Pandita of Jammu defeated Vikas of Kathua, in below 70 kg Param Veer of Jammu crushed Rahul Chib of Kathua and in above 70 kg Jiteshwar of Jammu overpowered Varun Partap of Kathua. |
