After clashes, miscreants force SPO to resign

Baramulla, Aug 23: SPO from SDPO Rafiabad has been compelled by some miscreants to resign from police department and support Kashmir cause.
According to sources, few days ago clashes erupted in Rafiabad. Sources said that, people pelted stones on security forces and in retaliation police fired several teargas shells to disperse the youth. Sources further said that, a youth of Bahrampora was recruited as special police officer (SPO) and he had taken front in dispersing the protest march which angered the local populace.
"Some miscreants had warned Waseem Ahmad Sheikh (SPO) S/O Ghulam Mohd Sheikh R/O Bahrampora to resign from police, said sources.
Sources quoting father of SPO said that my son has resigned today from police department.
