Early Times Report

JAMMU, Aug 23: Our political leaders and opinion-makers have, it seems, gone astray. They are putting such pernicious solutions to the so-called political problem as pre-1953 position and return to 1947. The NC, the Congress and the Left parties have unleashed a no-holds-barred propaganda blitz to give the nation to understand that India committed many mistakes and also ditched the Kashmiri Muslims by not fulfilling the promises made and it is imperative that New Delhi undone the past wrongs to conciliate the so-called alienated Kashmiri Muslims.
On Monday, Prem Shankar Jha, who has access to the Delhi's corridors of powers and is also known for his support to the Kashmiri separatist cause came out with an atrocious solution. He said rewind the needles of the clock back not to 1953 but 1947 and grant maximum independence to Kashmir.
"Kashmir is in danger of spinning out of control. If Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not act, Kashmir will slip away from India.
The best option available with India is to rewind the clock back to 1947 and by doing so, Kashmir will get freedom and at the same time the bond between India and Kashmir will not get disconnected…India must bring back Article 370 in its original shape that connects Kashmir with India through Defence, Communication, and Foreign Affairs," he said.
"People in Kashmir are very angry and they are in no mood to budge. The only solution and way out is to grant freedom to them within the framework of Indian constitution. People in Kashmir are in pain and they have been suffering day in and day out. Being a democratic country, India must act and grant them freedom (within the ambit of Indian Constitution). India can't always blame Pakistan over the violence in Kashmir," he further said.
What he said was undoubtedly an act of sedition. Had he been in Pakistan, China and similar other country, he would have either shot dead or put behind bars, but since we are India, such traitors preach sedition and walk free.
Jha, the perverted opinion maker, was so shameless that he only talked about the pain of the over-pampered Kashmiris, barring Kashmiri Hindus and Kashmiri Sikhs. He didn't talk about the suffering and oppressed and suppressed people of Jammu and Ladakh. Nor did he say a single word on the internally-displaced Kashmiri Hindus, refugees from Pakistan and PoJK. He only sung the Pakistani song and supported the votaries of Kashmiri Muslim sub-nationalism.
New Delhi must act against such opinion makers. They are not opinion makers; they are traitors of first order.
