Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 23: Taking a dig at Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, Youth National Conference here has said that careless approach of state government towards Kashmir crisis can be gauged from the fact that at the time Chief Minister is enjoying tours in Jammu, NC Working President Omar Abdullah is working hard in Delhi with efforts for restoring normalcy.
While addressing in a meeting of Youth National Conference leaders from Jammu district, YNC Provincial President Ajaz Jan said that since Kashmir crisis, careless approach of central and state government is swelling and blood bath is going on in valley.
"People are losing lives on one hand and CM is touring Jammu and inaugurating new projects", Jan said. He added that at a time when Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has left her responsibility for pressing centre to take all required steps for restoring normalcy, Omar Abdullah has taken over the charge.
"Omar Abdullah is playing the role of a good opposition and is striving hard in Delhi by meeting Prime Minister and President so that bloodbath in valley can be brought to an end", Jan further stated. He has also castigated Education Minister Naeem Akhter who is time and again saying to hold examinations on time.
"People are without essential commodities, children without milk, petrol pumps have dried out, employees are without salary and you are talking about examinations", Jan said. "Students will give exam if their lives are saved and they cannot give exam when bullets are flying over them", he further stated.
While terming the need of restoring mobile internet in five districts of Jammu province as urgent, YNC Provincial President Ajaz Jan said that instead of taking action against rumour mongers government has imposed e - curfew on lakhs of people which shows lack of will to deal those who create trouble.
"Why are you putting lakhs of innocent people to trouble and imposing e-curfew in five districts of Jammu province when situation is normal here", Jan said. "Majority of people still live in villages where there is no Broadband connectivity and students community is the worst sufferer of the mobile net snap", Jan said.
Earlier Jan asked all the party cadre present in the meeting to ensure that public contact is increased and national conference plays pivotal role in maintaining peace, communal harmony and normalcy in all the areas.
"Raise your voice against those whosoever tries to create widge between people", he asked leaders.
