Jammu, Sept 27: The ongoing agitation by the members of Bar Association Udhampur was called off today afternoon after the apology tendered by ADC Udhampur.
According to press release, members of Bar Association, Udhampur are on strike for the last few days against the dictatorial attitude and irresponsible behaviour of the erring officer towards some Advocates including a female Advocate. Addressing the media persons, Adv Surinder Khajuria, President, District Bar Association, Udhampur, disclosed that the ADC Udhampur has sought apology from the members of Bar Association after he personally visited the Bar Room and that too in presence of Principal District & Sessions Judge, Udhmapur K.S. Parihar, and it was also assured by the officer to the members of Bar Association, Udhampur that the same will not be repeated in future. Others who were present on the occassion included Adv Kulbhushan Gupta, Adv Satish Chander Gupta, Adv Yog Raj, Adv Prateek Ramotra, Adv Ajay Bandral, Adv Shamim, Adv Sunny Mahajan, Adv Akhil Dubey & others. |
