Jammu, Sept 27: Paying tributes to 18 soldiers martyred in a terror strike in Uri the Jammu & Kashmir Christian Dalit Society has demanded that the Centre should act sternly against the neighbouring country Pakistan. According to press release, the society also condemned attacks on Christians and residential areas of the community in Lahore and Peshawar in Pakistan on the eve of Easter. Stating that Pakistan must be taught lesson, which is not forgotten by that country till ages, for its misdeeds in India, the society, in a press release issued here today after paying tributes to martyred soldiers said, "The Jammu & Kashmir Christian Dalit Society strongly condemns the attack by a group of heavily armed terrorists targeting the base camp of a unit at Uri in Kashmir thus causing a heavy casualty in the shape of killing of 18 soldiers. We feel that Pakistan and its ISI are behind this mishap." Those participating in the tribute paying meeting were Chairman of the Society, S Peter besides Beli Ram, Asif Teji, William Paul, Rajinder Kumar, warayam Teji, Kamal Bhatti, Ruffes Teji, Romil Teji, Rippan Bhatti, Rajesh Teji, VInay Momman, Marqas Mirza, Vasu Teji, sam Rocky, Samsung Gill and Samier Bhatti. |
