Govt. Degree College, Kathua Celebrates NSS Day 9/27/2016 11:42:28 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Sept 27: The NSS Units of Government Degree College, Kathua celebrated NSS Day today in the College Auditorium. The function started around 1:00 PM with the welcome address by Prof Shikha followed by Ganesh Vandana by NSS volunteers. The NSS Volunteers namely Shivani and Randeep spoke about National Service Scheme on the occasion. Principal Govt. Degree College, Kathua, Dr Nater Singh Raina, was the Chief Guest on the occasion. He congrats and appreciate the NSS volunteers on the celebration of NSS foundation day. In his address he stress upon the role of youth in eradicating the social evils by awaking the people through various activities performed under NSS. He also stressed that NSS Volunteers should involve themselves in the development of nation. The proceeding of the function was carried by Abhimanu and Manu.
