JAMMU, Oct 23: 24th National Children's Science Congress was organized by the National council for Science and Technology communication (NCSTC) at St. Peter's High School, BC Road, Jammu. This year's theme was science, technology and innovation for sustainable development. According to press release two groups of BSF School participated in junior and senior category. Students worked on the subtheme, Natural Resource Management' and made a project titled as Bioplastic, A Biodegradable Product. 50 projects from the different reputed schools of the state were presented in which BSF school L project was adjudged 2nd. Five students of BSF school namely Koushal Bhat, Vaishvi Raina, ShreyaTyagi, Mayank Sharma and RahulRathore under the guidance of P K Saraswat, guide teacher have been selected for the state level competition. Principal of the school, S K Shukla, felicitated the winners in the morning assembly and congratulated the team of children for their splendid performance. He also applauded the efforts of the teachers for their support and guidance and wished them good luck for their future. |
