| NCP puts records straight on accession, praises demonetization | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 24: Former minister Thakur Randhir Singh NCP chief J&K state while addressing its leaders and media persons condemned the statement of former Chief minister J&K Omar Abdullah that " Kashmir is political problem , needs political solution and Delhi must open channels of dialogue with all stakeholders and also criticized the statement of Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar that the process of Jammu and Kashmir integration was started during Late Maharaja Hari Singh who not only signed the accession but pleaded the case of accompanied princess granting freedom to Indian princely states with Mahatama Gandhi in round table conference in 1933 in England while British rulers and Shiekh Mohd Abdullah conspired against Maharaja Hari Singh and was forced to leave the state.
It however welcomed the statement of Defence Minister that demonetization has exposed terrorists , stonepelters and badly affected the transactions of Hawala money, fake currency and benami transactions .
Singh said Prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri and Late G M Sadiq than Prime minister of J&K in 1965 and Thakur Randhir Singh was chief whip of Assembly party under G M Sadiq .
It was the time that New Delhi and the state govt worked in tandem and brought the state under the ambit of 260 central laws and also under the jurisdiction of Supreme Court of India, Election Commision of India and Comptroller and Auditor general of India .
