Rajesh Tandon Early Times Report Poonch, Nov 24: For District Social Welfare department (Poonch) government orders have no value. According to the sources 'Government of Jammu and Kashmir office of Divisional Commissioner Jammu' issued a notice under official registration number 402/GS/OBC/1835 dated 04-02-2016 in which government ordered to the Deputy commissioner of Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Reasi, Udhampur, Poonch, Rajouri, Ramban, Kishtwar and Doda to conduct a survey in respect of OBCs in the state, the order which has been connived by the officers of Poonch. In this regard people belonging to Other Backward Classes showed their resentment over the attitude of the officers and said if the government orders are connived by the district level officers as such, how a poor and illiterate one can follow the laws and government's orders. They appealed to chief minister Mehbooba Mufti to conduct an inquiry into the matter and direct concerns authorities to do the OBCs need full. Abdul Rashid Shahpuri, Fiji Mohammed Rashid and Iqbal Khanday in this regard demanded GDA inquiry into the matter. Trying to take comments district social welfare officer Poonch Naiem in Nisa, didn't attend the reporter's call. |
