Dwelling Burmese in Jammu is deep rooted conspiracy: VHP President | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 5: State VHP President Leela Karan Sharma said that Jammu-Kashmir is a sensitive state which is the victim of the internal & external militancy. The state has already witnessed a migration of the Hindus from the Kashmir valley & now an attempt is being made to create such a situation which Jammuities have to seriously consider. The recent attack on army at Nagrota, Samba & other places could not have been done without the local support & hideouts. A very deep rooted conspiracy is working & one of the examples is that the settlement of Burmese which according to Government figures six month back 5700 & by now it must have increased. These people are being settled in clusters, they are provided water connections, electricity & also ration by the persons sitting in the administration. It transpired that a Burmese cluster established in Narwal wala got engulfed in fire where some persons have also died & the people of the administration & NGO are working day & night to provide them material for reconstruction & providing water connection & electricity & other facilities so that they initially construct huts & by the passage of time they construct Pacca houses. It is strange how these Burmese people after crossing Bangladesh & entire India have come to this sensitive state to provide hideouts & shelter to the anti-social & militants. It is also learnt that all sort of crimes, drugs & flesh trade is being done in these clusters. The deputation of VHP met the Divisional Commissioner Jammu & apprised of this situation though the Div. Com agreed with the deputation of the presence of these Burmese, foreigners but on the spot, provision for providing water & electricity is being made who is behind this? Already thousand of Bangladeshis is settled in different clusters around the city which too is an alarming situation. |
