Nation is indebted to our brave soldiers: Zorawar | Team Jammu organises blood donation camp | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 5: On the eve of the Armed Forces Flag Day, the Team Jammu organised a blood donation camp at Military Hospital Satwari, Jammu Cantt as mark of respect to the soldiers who have attained martyrdoms while fighting with Pakistan sponsored proxy war in the country in general and Jammu and Kashmir in particular. Number of volunteers of Team Jammu, including females, College and University Students and educated unemployed youth in collaboration with Rajya Sainik Welfare Board donated blood during the camp under the leadership of Zorawar Singh Jamwal, chairman of the Team Jammu. The blood donated by the volunteers of Team Jammu is for the soldiers who have been fighting proxy war. Speaking on the occasion, chairman of the Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal said that aim of organising today's blood donation camp is to pay tributes to the soldiers who have attained martyrdoms at Pathankot, Uri and recent terror attack at Army Camp, Nagrota. Mr Zorawar Singh Jamwal said that our brave soldiers are sacrificing their lives for the future of our generation and it is duty of every citizen to give respect and honour to the soldiers. "Our soldiers are giving their blood while fighting with terrorists and we have organised a blood donation camp as mark of respect for the soldiers", Jamwal said, adding, "It is duty of every citizen to stand with the soldiers who are at the front be on the borders as well as in the hinterland fighting with terrorists". Pointing towards recent incidents of terror attack at Uri and Nagrota in which many soldiers attained martyrdom while fighting with terrorists, Zorawar Singh Jamwal said that today blood donation camp was a token of respect towards the outstanding services rendered by valiant soldiers who zealously guarded our borders round the clock and frustrating evil designs of enemy. He, however, said today's blood donation camp was only a small gesture because soldiers are doing a lot for us. "The whole nation is indebted to the soldiers", he said. Management of Military Hospital Satwari appreciated gesture of the volunteers of the Team Jammu who turned up in large number to donate blood for soldiers. |
