Jammu, Dec 5: A high court dvision bench of Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Tashi Rabstan today granted state a final opportunity to file fresh status report in the alleged hushing up of Rajouri Development Authority (RDA) scam.
The state has been granted one week's time to file the fresh status report. The court directive came in a PIL, highlighting the alleged hushing up of RDA scam.
It has been alleged that instead of registering an FIR, despite the approval of director vigilance, J&K, SVO had converted the case into regular departmental action against the delinquent officers.
The allegedly delinquent officers included then RDA CEO Mohammad Javed Khan, who is presently Custodian General, J&K, then executive engineers -- Khushal Chand and Devi Dass Heer -- and junior engineer Gurcharan Singh. (JNF) |
