POONCH, Dec 5: A team of directorate of health services (DHS) visited SDH, Mandi, and expressed displeasure over the facilities being provided to patients. The team warned the staff of action if they fail to provide good facilities to patients, according to official sources. Some patients raised the issue with the team members, alleging that some health officials were performing their duties in a very careless manner. "They also alleged that the SDH has failed to provide them basic facilities," sources said. "While the health minister has been claiming that health services across the state are up to the mark, Mandi SDH sans requisite facilities," sources said, quoting the patients. It may be mentioned that the SDH caters to the needs to a large chunk of population of Sawjian, Loran and other far-flung villages. Locals have sought the chief minister's intervention in the matter and demanded that the concerned authorities should be directed to provide all types of facilities to the people in SDH, Mandi. |
