Radicals call shots in Valley, liberals face action Govt pursuing suicidal policy 12/5/2016 10:14:21 PM Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Dec 5: The mainstream people and politicians are perturbed over government's policies towards tackling the terrorist violence in Valley. Terming the policy adopted by both state and central governments in tackling the present turmoil in Valley as illogical and directionless, the leaders of various mainstream parties and nationalist organisations feel that such polices may prove counterproductive in future. According to sources, the leaders of various mainstream organisations and well-thinking people in Kashmir while expressing serious concern over the recent killing of a Congress worker in Dooru tehsil and Kulgam in South Kashmir as a big blunder said that this will further alienate the people and prove a setback to pro-nationalist movement launched by them in Kashmir. People especially the school and college going students are ready to defy the bandh calls of Hurriyat and other terrorist outfits. Sources said that people feel dejected with the killing of two persons who have no link with terrorists. Sources said the nationalist people in the Valley are presently dejected lot as there is no concrete policy before the government to tackle the three decade long unrest in Valley. Sources said the leaders of separatist Hurriyat Conference and its main constituent Jamaat Islamia which is propagating anti -India theory in Valley. The members of Jamaat give public speeches in mosques and other religious and social functions. Sources said it is Jamaat which had instigated youth to stone pelting and wage a war against the Indian Union. The Jamaat which is totally involved in anti-India bashing in Kashmir and instigating youth to join militant ranks and wage war against Indian Union. However the greatest failure of the government is that it could not take action against these separatists who are getting support from Jamaat think tank. Sources said while the government is arresting the cadres and activists of mainstream parties the real culprits who are brain behind present unrest go scot-free. Sources said Jamaat cadres are still propagating the anti India theory from mosques inducing youth to join militant ranks but the government does not bother to lay its hands over them while the innocent people are tortured.
