Pressure on BJP ministers to submit properties details of their family members ! | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 5: On November 28, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked BJP parliamentarians and MLAs to submit details of their bank transactions between November 8 and December 31 to party president Amit Shah, there is demand in Jammu and Kashmir that similar directions must be given to the family members of BJP leaders and ministers in the State. After allegations of corruption and misdeeds were surfaced in the main stream and social media, people draw a conclusion that instead of directly involved in corrupt practices, some BJP ministers have allowed some businessmen, power brokers and their family members to strike deals on their behalf. People have reasons to dare BJP ministers and other leaders including legislators and Member Parliament to submit bank details of their family members and closed persons because some controversial deals were struck by the power brokers and family members on behalf of the BJP ministers. Credible sources said that some BJP leaders informal chat at party office two days back have dared party ministers , MPs and legislators to set an example by submitting details of their family members and other close friends, especially businessmen. None of the BJP ministers, MPs or legislators is so far come forward to submit property details of their family members also. All of them have so far given cold shoulder response to this move. The PM's this latest move - for in-house accountability and transparency - came amid the Opposition's allegations that BJP leaders were in the know of the demonetisation move and had mopped up their illegal cash accordingly. |
