Jammu, Jan 10: Central leadership of BJP has taken very serious note of the decision of J&K Government to announce ex-gratia worth Rs 5 lakh and a government job to all those who were killed during four months long agitation in Kashmir Valley in the year 2016. BJP high command has reportedly taken party ministers to task for endorsing this decision of the State Government to encourage those who were involved in wagging a war against Indian state.
Credible sources said that BJP high command has expressed its strong anger and warned BJP ministers that this decision would be exploited by opposition parties in other parts of the country, especially where Assembly elections are going to be held. Central leaders have reportedly talked to some senior BJP ministers and reprimanded them for their failure to convince coalition partner PDP for taking this controversial decision. Credible sources further said that leaders of some organizations affiliated with RSS have warned that such decision would demoralize security forces which are fighting with anti-national elements in Kashmir Valley. They blamed BJP ministers in the coalition government for their failure to oppose this controversial decision of the State Government. These organizations have even warned to launch agitation on the roads against BJP ministers also.
Already Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party and other Jammu based groups have announced to launch agitation against this decision of the state government.
