22 UT players awarded

Jammu, Oct 7: Twenty two young and promising martial arts players from Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir were awarded with 2nd DAN and Ist Dan Black belt in Youngmudo by the Korean Masters and Indian Yongmudo Federations .
As per the release firstly the players were imparted training in yongmudo by Master Brijesh Bhau . Also they attended special Seminar of Korean Master and after that black belt on line exam via virtual mode was taken by Grand Master Minchul Kang Grand Master Kwang International Yongmudo Federation & Master Rohit Dass Narkar President and Master Rana Ajay Singh General Secretary Indian Yongmudo Federation . Now the result were declared and DAN Grades were awarded to these players. Sukhbir Singh President of the Association said this achievement is the pride for the State of Jammu and Kashmir that the twenty two players from our Union Territory were awarded with 2nd & 1st DAN Grade Black Belt Master Grade in Yongmudo. He added that our Razak Ahmed have been appreciated by the GRAND MASTER MINCHUL KANG for tremendous performance in the exam and stood third in National Ranking. Dr. Amit Vaid Chairman of the Yongmudo Association J&K has appreciated and praises, the players after achieving 2nd & 1st Dan Black Belt Grade and called for more participation of younger generation in this sports activity. Brijesh General Secretary of the Association also conveyed congratulations to the players and appreciated them for getting Dan Grades. He added that in near future the players are going to take part in International tournaments. He also said that the every girl child should learn Martial Arts for their self defence.
