CHILDLINE provides hygiene kits to inmates of Muskan CCI

JAMMU, Feb 2: In its efforts to reach out to the children, CHILDLINE Jammu, Nodal organization Department of Law, University of Jammu distributed hygiene kits to inmates of Muskan Child Care Institution (CCI). Personal hygiene and cleanliness are critical for staying healthy and for preventing sicknesses, disease and protection against COVID 19 infection.
The importance of basic hygiene and staying clean extends beyond physical health. During the interaction with the staff of the Child Care Institution they were also urged to take extra care to protect the children from deadly disease of COVID as we are facing the danger of third wave which is more critical as for as children are concerned. The experts from medical field already provided the warning signal in this regard. The staff members were also aware about the CHILDLINE and its activities. The information with regard to 1098 number and its functioning was shared with the staff members.
The event was organized under the supervision of Prof. Satinder Kumar, Nodal Director CHILDLINE, HoD Law, University of Jammu. The event was coordinated by Rohit Khajuria Coordinator.
Others who were present on the Occasion Bansi Lal Administrator Muskan Child Care Institution, staff members of Child Care Institution and volunteer Vaneet Sharma.
