JAMMU, Nov 27: A drive against the solid waste management was organized by the villagers of village Bhatti Chowadi Jammu in coordination with Sprout education Swachh Bharat Abhiyan team .Sarpanch Arshaad Bibi was the chair person of the event,she was presented a sapling as token of love. Jorawar Singh expert in solid and plastic waste management displayed the demo of solid waste management and motivated the villagers to prepare the compost from kitchen waste.A unit to prepare compost from kitchen waste is installed in the house of Labh Din Ji is a social activist of the locality and takes the responsibility to do work for the society and success of the unit established in the house. Anganwadi workers, Shameem Akhter, Shamim Bibi, Naseem Bibi and helpers coordinated the program. All the presentees committed to work with the team of solid waste management. I thank to all the presentees in the occasion. |
