11/27/2022 10:35:48 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 27: Senior Aam Aadmi Party leaders held a meeting in Party Head office Gandhi Nagar, Jammu under the chairmanship of S. Deep Singh, the Founder & National Council Member- AAP-J&K and held a thread bare discussion about Party preparedness at grass root level particularly in the context of Party cadre strength at the booth level keeping in view the challenges ahead owing to the probable elections in J&K and restoration of status of state to it.
Various speakers during the deliberations raised various issues of public importance across Jammu Province particularly with regard to power crises in the remote and hilly areas as also in plains of Jammu Region. It was pointed out that three mega Hydel Projects namely Salal Project, Baghliar & DUL-HASTI project, produce around 2400 MWs of power which fetches around 300 crores monthly but unfortunately 80% of the power generated here is diverted to Northern grid and the neglected lot here in Jammu region mostly in far-flung, remote & hilly areas, either remain in dark & dingy atmosphere or live a life like primitive age. Instead, the AAP leaders quoted that despite being producer of huge power wealth, the rate of electricity is very exorbitant and people are made to pay out of nose For example, the release said that one Surinder Resident of street No. 9 of Talab Tilloo Jammu has been billed for 11 lakhs; Bansi Lal son of Shiv Dass, Resident of village ATHOLI Paddar and Ram Saran Son of Man Chand village LUDDER of Sub-Division Paddar, District Kishtwar has been slapped a bill of Rs. two lakh, sixty thousand, six hundred forty six and the men are living in mud houses the release said and urged upon the concerned authorities to take cognizance of the cases on priority for taking remedial action in the matter, the release demanded. Prominent among those who attended the meeting and spoke on the occasion include S. Deep Singh, Major General Rajinder Singh Jamwal, Satish Sharma, Farooq Ahmed Banday, Ram Singh Chauhan, Nirmal Mahna, Kuldeep Kumar Rao, S.S. Jamwal, Mahesh Chander Sudan, Amit Langer, S. Sethi, Agya Kour, Sushma Malhotra, Tripta Devi, Neha Dogra, Dr. Preeti Bhagat, Sudesh Kumari, Romesh Lal Bhagat, S.Amer Singh, Suresh Kumar Bhagat, Ashwani Kumar Kaith, Brij Mehara, Mehar Singh & other Sr. AAP leaders.
The AAP leaders further said that the new style of 'Jumla Bazi' or " Aage dour, peechhe chhor" just to make mockery of people' s memory & befool them. People only will have to pay them in the same coin in times to come. All their tall promises and tall claims have proved " mungeri lal ke haseen sapne", but sad " kaba kis munh se jao ge Ghalib, sharam tum ko magar nahin aati". wish Countrymen read the writing on the wall and see through the game as early as possible otherwise they are busy in their dirty game of victimization, harassment, propaganda of lies, falsehood, defamation character assassination and what not just to divert the attention of masses for their electoral gains in Gujrat, HP etc. GONE are the ethical values where good work used to fetch rewards & acclamation, but one can't expect the same from jaundiced mind with ill will. God only can prevail upon minds of our country men for a change on Delhi and Punjab pattern.
