SSP takes round of Katra town, visits police station

REASI, Feb 7: SSP Reasi Mohita Sharma-IPS visited Police Station Katra and also took round of Katra town to assess the preparedness for upcoming VVIP visits and forthcoming celebrations in the holy town.
SSP Reasi also held an introductory meeting with the staff of Police Station Katra. SSP urged upon the officers and officials to work with dedication and enthusiasm and ensured that effective working system is in place. SSP stressed the need for teamwork and directed every officer to exhibit dedication, professionalism and to ensure effective measures to enhance the safety and security of pilgrims and general public. SSP Reasi also directed that safety and security of the holy shrine and pilgrims visiting there should be amongst the top priorities of the Police.
During this interaction, SSP had productive discussions with the officials and staff members of the police station, exchanging valuable insights and addressing any existing concerns like welfare of jawans , infrastructure etc . She also stressed upon the efforts to ensure the overall safety and security of the region.
