After 18 years, absconder arrested by Pacca Danga police | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 6: In a significant breakthrough, the Pacca Danga Police Station has finally apprehended an absconder who had been evading authorities for 18 years. Identified as Imtiyaz Ahmed, son of Ghulam Nabi Ganai and a resident of Tajiwara, Tehsil, and District Anantnag, the arrest was made in connection with Case FIR No. 52/2006 under section 379/RPC. Imtiyaz Ahmed had been on the run since 2013, following his involvement in the aforementioned case. A warrant under Section 512 CRPC had been issued against him by the Honorable Court of Special Municipal Mobile JMIC, Jammu. The successful operation leading to the arrest was the result of meticulous efforts by law enforcement. IC PP Parade PSI Amit Singh spearheaded the operation, under the guidance of SHO Pacca Danga Rakesh Jamwal, SDPO North City DySP Devinder Singh, and SP City North Shivam Siddharth (IPS). The overall supervision of the operation was carried out by SSP Jammu Dr. Vinod Kumar (IPS). This breakthrough marks a significant milestone in law enforcement efforts, showcasing the dedication and perseverance of the police force in ensuring justice is served.
