Kavinder remembers party stalwarts on BJP's Foundation Day | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 6: On the auspicious occasion of the Bharatiya Janata Party's Foundation Day, Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, fondly remembered the stalwarts of the party and paid heartfelt respect to their contributions towards nation-building. In a ceremony organised by Rekha Mahajan, District President at Trikuta Nagar in Jammu which attended by party leaders, dedicated workers and prominent people of the society, Kavinder Gupta hoisted the Party's Flag, symbolizing the party's unwavering commitment to its core principles and vision. Established on April 6, 1980, the BJP celebrates its 44th Foundation Day today. In commemoration of this significant milestone, Kavinder extended his warm wishes to all party workers, acknowledging their unwavering dedication and commitment to the party's ideals. Addressing the gathering, Kavinder Gupta affirmed the BJP's steadfast progress, remarking that the party is resolutely moving forward on the path of unparalleled victory in the upcoming general elections. He emphasized the BJP's unwavering resolve to serve the nation and uphold the values enshrined in its foundation. He said that party cadre in J&K is committed to reach out every single resident and help him or her to avail the benefits of centre's welfare schemes. He said that BJP workers are not only political activists but they are part of nationalist work force, which always stood for the cause of common man and assists people in need. Remembering the contributions of Party stalwarts Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, Lal Krishna Advani ji, Prem Nath Dogra, Nana ji Deshmukh and Kushabhau Thakre, Kavinder said that after 43 years of journey we feel indebted to the veteran leaders who contributed in raising its seats from 2 to 300 in the Lok Sabha. He said that today BJP is the largest party of the world and connected firmly to the people of this nation. Tracing the roots of the BJP to the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, which was established in 1951 as the political wing of the pro-Hindu group Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh by Syama Prasad Mookerjee, he stated that Bharatiya Jana Sang in the general elections of 1951-52 had won only 3 seats but today the party is relishing the colossal support of people, and is doing the best to steer India to new heights of progress and prosperity. Recognizing the Party's growth and accomplishments, Kavinder expressed confidence in the BJP's ability to secure more than 400 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. This ambitious aspiration demonstrates the party's commitment to public service and their determination to navigate India towards a brighter future.
