KISHTWAR, Feb 1: In a bid to honor the supreme sacrifices of J&K Police heroes, District Police Kishtwar will organize the Martyrs' Memorial Cricket Tournament 2025 under the Civic Action Programme.
The announcement was made during a press briefing held at District Police Lines (DPL) Kishtwar, led by Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Kishtwar, Shri Pawan Sharma, along with Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy. SP) DAR, Shri Sajjad Khan. The briefing focused on the tournament's significance, emphasizing its role in paying tribute to the martyrs and engaging local youth in sporting activities.
The tournament aims to encourage youth participation in sports while acknowledging the courage and sacrifice of police personnel in Jammu & Kashmir. Interested cricket clubs can now register for the event by contacting the designated numbers provided by the police.
