AYUSH Department organises awareness program at SAR Institute-Ramban

RAMBAN, Feb 3: Intensifying the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, the Department of AYUSH, in line with directives issued by District Administration Ramban, organized a lecture-cum-awareness program at SAR Institute, Ramban to educate students about the harmful effects of substance abuse and mobile addiction.
During the event, Raju Singh from Padhoji Institute, Jammu, delivered an insightful counselling lecture, emphasizing the psychological impact and strategies to overcome dependency to addiction. He highlighted the growing concern of digital addiction among youth and the need for balanced usage of technology.
Senior Medical Officer & District Yoga Coordinator Dr. Masood Iqbal Zarger spoke about the Nasha Mukt Abhiyan, underlining the critical role of Yoga and Meditation in de-addiction and mental well-being. He urged students to adopt a healthy lifestyle and engage in activities that promote mindfulness and self-discipline.
Expressing gratitude, Head of SAR Institute Ajaz Ahmed thanked the Department of AYUSH for conducting this valuable awareness session. He appreciated the efforts of the District Administration Ramban, under the guidance of the Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary in organizing programs that contribute to the well-being of students and the community.
The session concluded with a call to action, encouraging students to spread awareness about the ill effects of substance abuse and adopt healthier life choices.
