KATHUA, Feb 6: The Jammu and Kashmir Police have issued a rebuttal to the baseless and misleading tweet by Mehbooba Mufti, regarding an alleged crackdown in Billawar town. The district authorities clarified that there has been no such crackdown, with normal life functioning smoothly in the town. Traffic is plying without any disruption, and routine activities, including school and college attendance, continue as usual.
The clarification comes in response to claims made in the tweet which falsely suggested widespread unrest in Billawar. Authorities emphasized that the internet services in the Kathua district have not been interrupted.
