Sunderbani, Feb 6: A successful Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) camp was organized at Salehri village in the Medical Block Sunderbani, as per the directions of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Rajouri, Dr. M.L. Rana, and under the supervision of Block Medical Officer (BMO) Sunderbani, Dr. Meena Kumari. The camp, held in collaboration with the MMU unit Rajouri, Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) Team Sunderbani, Ayush Unit of SDH Sunderbani, and the Health and Wellness Centre Salheri, aimed to provide comprehensive healthcare services to the local population. A total of 126 patients received allopathic consultations, while 69 patients were provided with ayurvedic consultations. Free medicines were distributed to all patients, ensuring that they received adequate care. Additionally, various lab tests were conducted, including 76 hemoglobin tests, 43 blood sugar tests, 6 sputum tests, and 46 dental check-ups, with a strong focus on preventive and curative care. Dr. Arjun Sharma, who was part of the camp, educated the community about the RBSK program, Ayushman Bharat, and other health schemes, in addition to promoting hygiene, balanced diet, and awareness about water-borne diseases, communicable diseases, non-communicable diseases (NCDs), tuberculosis, and family planning. Dr. Khaliq from the MMU unit emphasized the significance of such mobile medical camps, especially in inaccessible areas, to ensure that healthcare services reach those in need. The local community, including patients, Panchayat representatives, and prominent citizens, expressed their gratitude to the administration and the medical team for organizing the camp and bringing healthcare services to their remote village. The dedicated team of medical professionals and paramedics who contributed to the success of the camp included Dr. Khaliq Rehman, Dr. Arjun Sharma, Dr. Nitika, Dr. Alka, Dr. Risha (MLHP), and paramedics such as Ranjat Khajuria, Rajinder Kumar, Mudasar, Vijay Kumar, Davinder Khajuria, Harminder Singh, Sushma Sharma, Priyanka, Shabir, and ASHAs. This initiative highlights the administration's commitment to providing quality healthcare services to remote and underserved communities, ensuring access to healthcare for all, regardless of location. |
