JAMMU, Feb 7: Humanity Public School successfully organized a grand Gayatri Mahayagya on the occasion of the birth anniversary of its late chairman, Captain Gandharv Singh Charak. The event was a tribute to his vision, values, and contributions to the institution, with over 1,600 students, staff members, and parents participating in the sacred ceremony.
The Mahayagya was conducted at nine hawan kunds, where Vedic mantras were recited, creating a divine and serene atmosphere. The chanting of bhajans further added to the spiritual ambiance, fostering a sense of peace and harmony among the attendees.
Meera Charak, Chairperson, Gaurav Charak, Principal, Anku Charak Vice Principal, Akashdeep Raina (Admin Incharge), Ravinder Sadhu (Administrator), Parsidh Singh (Incharge Hr. Sec. Wing), Namrta Sharma (Incharge Senior Wing), Vandana Sharma (Incharge Primary Wing), Er. Varinder Kumar (IT Incharge), Mahan Singh (Sports Incharge) & Aparna Billowria (Incharge Pre-Primary Wing) led the ceremony by offering floral tributes to Captain Gandharv Singh Charak, remembering his dedication to education and his lasting impact on the institution.
Renowned Pandits of Shanti Kunj Haridwar namely Pt. Tarsem Nagar (Zone Head, J&K, Gayatri Parivar), Parshotam Sharma, Niwas Sharma, Ramesh Singh, & Vikas Gupta highlighted the significance of the Mahayagya in a school environment, emphasizing its role in fostering purity, positivity, charity and worship among students. He also spoke about the late chairman's legacy, inspiring everyone to uphold his principles of integrity, discipline, and academic excellence.
The school principal and vice-principal expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all present, acknowledging their participation in making this event a grand success. They reiterated the school's commitment to preserving cultural and spiritual traditions while providing a well-rounded education.
The school chairperson, Meera Charak, applauded the efforts of the school management for successfully organizing the Gayatri Mahayagya, acknowledging their dedication to upholding spiritual and cultural values.
