MD CVPPL hands over 2 ambulances to District Hospital Kishtwar

JAMMU, Feb 13: Ramesh Mukhiya, MD, Chenab Valley Power Projects Limited (CVPPL) handed over 02 ambulances to CMO (I/c), District Hospital Kishtwar in the presence of Senior Officers of Pakal Dul, Head of Project, Kiru H.E.P., GM (HR) CVPPL Projects and the officials of Health & Family Welfare Department.
These ambulances have been funded by Pakal Dul H.E. Project as a part of the implementation of Health Delivery System under Environment Management Plan (EMP) of the Project. Procured at the cost of approximately Rupees Thirty-Two Lakhs, these Ambulances will strengthen the existing Health & Medical Services related Infrastructure of District Kishtwar ensuring prompt response to various medical emergencies. Ramesh Mukhiya, while interacting with the media persons, said that, "Apart from these two ambulances CVPPL is also providing various healthcare machines, laboratory equipment's, medicines etc. to the District Hospital Kishtwar as well as Primary Health Centres in Kishtwar District under CSR Scheme of "Health & Nutrition." While extending gratitude to the District Authorities & the people of Kishtwar for their kind cooperation in the development of hydropower projects, he further mentioned that, "CVPPL shall continue to do various social, environmental and public welfare activities." The representatives of H&FW Department Kishtwar thanked CVPPL for the ambulances and also urged the management to extend further support in future to strengthen the existing healthcare infrastructure in the District of Kishtwar.
CVPPL has been entrusted with the responsibility of developing four hydroelectric projects with a combined capacity of 3094 MW in the District of Kishtwar. These projects are of National Importance and are being regularly monitored at the Highest Level by Government of India.
