Early Times Report RAMGARH, Jan 24: Government Degree College, Ramgarh, under the Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) Committee and the National Service Scheme (NSS), celebrated the 16th National Voters' Day with great enthusiasm and active participation. National Voters' Day is observed annually on 25th January to spread awareness about the importance of voting and to encourage informed and responsible participation in the democratic process, especially among young citizens. To mark the occasion, the college organized a series of engaging and informative activities on campus, including an Intra-College Quiz Competition, a National Voters' Day Pledge Taking Ceremony, and the installation of a Voters' Awareness Selfie Point. The events witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty members. In the Intra-College Quiz Competition, four teams competed. Team C, comprising Manvi Verma and Gaurav Choudhary, secured the First Position, while Team D, comprising Rohit Rana and Sahil Sharma, bagged the Second Position. Team A, comprising Amandeep Kour and Radhana Choudhary, secured the Third Position. On the occasion, a National Voters' Day Pledge was administered, wherein students and all the faculty members collectively reaffirmed their commitment to uphold the Constitution of India, democratic values, integrity, and responsible citizenship. |
