BHOPAL, Jan 24: JK Hospital has achieved another major milestone in the field of medical care with the complete recovery and discharge of 26-year-old Rajesh Maurya. Rajesh battled for life for nearly two months in the Emergency Medicine ICU of JK Hospital. Notably, his entire treatment was provided free of cost under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. According to family members, on *20 November 2025, after completing his duty in **Karimnagar, Telangana*, Rajesh allegedly consumed illicit liquor suspected to be mixed with methanol. Soon after, his condition deteriorated rapidly. He vomited blood 3-4 times, lost consciousness, and began experiencing severe epileptic-like seizures in his arms and legs. Initially, he was admitted to a government hospital in Telangana, where his condition became critical and he was placed on a ventilator. Despite this, on *22 November 2025*, the family, against medical advice, discharged him and brought him to JK Hospital. |
