JAMMU, Jan 24: Swaransh Dogra, a student of Class XI-F at Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu, clinched the Gold Medal in the Vijay Merchant Trophy (Plate Group) 2025, organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The tournament was held in Surat, Gujarat, from 7 December 2025 to 7 January 2026, in the Under-16 age group category.
In the final match, the Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Team registered a resounding victory over Mizoram, winning by an innings and 182 runs. For his outstanding performance, Swaransh was also awarded a memento and a certificate.
The esteemed management of DPS Jammu, under the leadership of President-RCT, M.K. Ajatshatru Singh, Distinguished PVC-Kuwarani Dr. Ritu Singh, and Director, S. S. Sodhi, along with the Principal, Ruchi Chabra, and the entire staff, congratulated Swaransh and his proud parents on this remarkable achievement.
