BAJ to suspend work to protest Quran desecration Appeals Kashmiris to maintain harmony | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 14: Appealing KAshmiris to maintain peace and harmony, the Bar Association Jammu (BAJ) decided to suspend work on September 15, 2010 in protest against sacrilegious Act. In the executive Committee meeting of BAJ, anguish was expressed over reported sacrilegious Act in USA and condemned all acts deliberately directed to undermine the religious sanctity of one particular faith. Members of BAJ in one voice condemned the act. The BAJ appealed to the people to maintain religious harmony and brotherhood, howsoever grave the provocation may be. In the meeting Advocates H. Rehman, HA Siddiqui, MA Butt and KM Bahtti members of BAJ Jammu strongly condemned the anti-sloganeering by some miscreants in University. The BAJ decided to suspend work on September 15, 2010 and also appealed to Kashmiris to maintain peace and harmony. JNF
