Cong, Nc play blame game ahead of crucial all party meet in Delhi | | | early times report Jammu, Sept 14: Ahead of the crucial All party meet in New Delhi on the Kashmir issue the coalition partners in Jammu and Kashmir have locked themselves in blame game over their performance as a cohesive unit. After the CCS meet ended in Delhi on Monday when the Omar Abdullah came to know that union govt was not satisfied with his handling of the situation and tried to distance itself from the ongoing turmoil Omar took it as a direct assault aimed at him. Unhappy with the observations Omar raised the bar on Tuesday and privately admitted to media persons that he alone cannot be held responsible for the present turmoil in the kashmir valley. "We are running a coalition government in the state only one coalition partner should not be held responsible for the present crisis",Junior NC leaders said obliquley referring to the role of the congress party in the coalition govt. Other NC leaders said Kashmir needs political solution. "we had inherited the Kashmir issue while assuming the power and the matter needs immediate attention in the back drop of the present crisis". On the other hand the congress ministers, not happy with the response of the Chief Minister to the present crisis maintained that at every juncture Omar made error of judgement and allowed things to go out of hands and later shifting the blame on the Delhi that they have tied down his hands as well and he was finding it difficult to reach out to the people of Kashmir. The congress leaders said by pushing ahead the agenda of thinning down the presence of the armed forces in the state and diluting the Armed forces special power act without giving a thought to the present situation Omar did try to outsmart PDP's campaign but seems to have caught in the complex cobweb not knowing out to step out of the mess.
