| Army celebrates Hindi Diwas | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Sept 14: Army’s northern command today celebrated Hindi Diwas with enthusiasm and vigor.
In a handout issued here today, it has been stated that competitions such as Hindi essay, noting and Drafting, Hindi Typing through Computer were held. On this auspicious occasion, Brig BS Das, BGS (IS&T), HQ Northern Command presented attractive prizes to the winners and emphasised all about the provisions of Official Language ACT 963 and Art 351 of the Constitution of India.
Das also emphasised the audience about the importance of the Official Language in day to day work through Official correspondence in the offices of HQ Northern Command. Assistant Director (OL) DS Rauthan and Secretary Official Language Implementation Committee HQ Northern Command congratulated all the prize winners and thanked the Chief Guest, Officers and all the present in the ceremony. On this occasion, he has also read GOC-in-C Northern Command message.
