| PASJ frames body of volunteers for blood donation | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 1: People’s Association for Social Reforms & Justice (PASJ), a social & self aided organization, on the occasion of the “National Voluntary Blood Donation Day” organized a meet under the chairmanship of JS Rissam at PASJ office where a committee of “Volunteers for blood donation” was formed appointing Jagjyot Singh as the coordinator of the committee. As per press release this committee was formed of young and healthy people who are medically fit to donate blood by registering their blood groups. The committee members will donate blood whenever the requirement of a specific blood group arises.
An awareness drive was also launched regarding the blood donation. Under this awareness drive PASJ members distributed pamphlets containing information about blood donation to the general masses in various areas of Jammu including Kachi Chawni area and outside many educational institutions like Sant Rocha Singh Degree College, GGM Science College and MAM College.
Prominent members who participated in the drive were Sandeep Singh President, Anirudh Gupta Vice President, Amrinder Singh Secretary, Jagjyot Singh, Rajinder Kumar, Varun Sharma and Jagandeep Singh.
