| Usha Vohra’s photography exhibition inaugurated | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, April 15: Veteran Artist Triloke Kaul inaugurated photography exhibition
of Usha Vohra today at Kala Kendra.
A galaxy of writers, Artists and art lovers were present on the occasion. Prominent among the distinguished guests include Governor NN Vohra, senior army officers etc.
Kaul appreciated the efforts of Usha Vohra in capturing the different shades and beauty of the state covering all the parts of the state ranging from Siachan Mountains to plains, meadows, springs lakes through her uncanny eye.
He further said that she appears to be a professional artist fully knowing the shades of photography art. Stressing the need of showcasing to the world the diverse shades of beauty of the state through photographs, paintings, he exhorted the Academy to arrange such exhibition in different pats of the country.
The Secretary Academy Zafar Iqbal Manhas earlier welcomed the distinguished audience present on the occasion.
He said that despite financial constraints the Academy has been doing its bit to showcase the works of local artists through exhibitions held in the state and in other parts of the country.
