Conclusion of Central Sanskrit University International Vedic Conference

JAMMU, Nov 10: First International Vedic Conference on the topic "Vedon mein Vigyan" concluded on 10 November 2024 in Shri Ranbir campus of Central Sanskrit University under the joint aegis of Central Sanskrit University, Shri Ranbir Campus, Kot Bhalwal, Jammu and Vigyan Parishad, Jammu and Kashmir. The chief guest of the program was Swami Govindanand Saraswati. The special guests of the program was Shetra Pramukh of Vigyan Parisad Dr. Somdev Bhardwaj, B. N. Tripathy, Vice Chancellor of SKUAST, was the distinguished guest of the valedictory program. Special Guest was Prof. Prafulla Kumar Mishra of Maharshi Sandipani,Ex-Vice Chairman Veda Vidya Pratishthan, Ujjain. And Guest of Honour was presented to Prof. R.G. Murali Krishna Registrar of Central Sanskrit University. The program was presided over by campus director Prof. Sridhar Mishra. Chief guest Swami Govindanand Saraswati in his address said that ancient religion and culture can be preserved only by adopting Vedic knowledge in human life. Special guest Dr. Somdev Bhardwaj congratulated the Central Sanskrit University for the successful and grand organization of the Vedic Conference and said that if such events continue to be held in future also, it will infuse new energy into the academic world and the new generation will get an opportunity to know the heritage. . Special guest Prof. B.N Tripathi, Vice Chancellor SKUAST congratulated the organizing committee and said that the purpose for which this conference has been organized seems to be successful today, it should be our continuous effort to make such events dynamic and grand in future. Saraswat Guest Prof. Prafull Kumar Mishra said that the knowledge of Vedas gives introduction to Sanatan culture. This educates the new generation, which will strengthen India's cultural heritage. Registrar of CSU Prof. R.G. Murali Krishna said that it is a moment of pride for the Central Sanskrit University that the integration of science and Vedas has taken place in such a grand manner. In his presidential address, Campus Director Prof. Shridhar Mishra said that without the four Vedas, life has no importance. To awaken the fire of knowledge in man, it is necessary to have Vedic knowledge. One who has attained this knowledge, his life becomes blessed.
Three sessions were organized in the second day, in which the fourth session was organized on the topic 'Integrating Tradition and Technology Vedic Perspective Innovation', whose session was chaired by the Vice Chancellor of SKUAST, Prof. BN Tripathi and co-chaired by Pavnesh Abrol Head of the Computer Department of Jammu University. Keynote Speaker of the session was Prof. Adarsh Pal Director of Punjab Pollution Control Board, and Prof. Praveen Lehna of Jammu University. The report was given by Dr. Neha Chaudhary and Dr. R.K Rai. The session was conducted by Dr. Gopal Verma. In this session, scholars and researchers of Vedas presented their research papers on the influence of Veda Science, Vedic Mathematics, Skill Education and Sanskrit. In this session, Mohammad Arif, Sneha Chaudhary, Odined Dolma, Arifa Chaudhary, Ashu Sharma etc. presented papers. Students, researchers and teachers from various universities of Jammu and Kashmir were present in this session. The fifth session was organized on the hybrid mode on the topic 'Knowledge in the Vedas'. The session was chaired by Prof. D. Pramod Rahe, Registrar and Director Research, Malla Reddy University, Hyderabad and co-chaired by Vice President Prof. Taras Shevchenko from National University Kyiv, Ukraine Stay Yuribotvikin. Keynote speaker of the session was Prof. Devendra Kumar Mishra, Head of the Department of Vedas, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, New Delhi. Special speaker Dr. Vivek Mani Tripathi, Guangdong University of Foreign Languages, China. Reporters of the session were Dr. Rohit Sharma and Dr. Khemnarayan Regmi
