Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 11: One day Awareness programme on First Aid, CPR, Choking, Fire Fighting and other emergency rescue methods was organized at S.D. Tara Puri High School, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu in which 80 students of the School participated. The Program was organized under the supervision of Dy. SP. Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu, who gave awareness about basic knowledge through demonstration by Civil Defence experts. The students were also made aware about Disaster Management and risk reduction during natural or manmade disaster. On the occasion, a lecture on the topics of Disaster Management was delivered by Dy. SP. Anita Pawar. She also highlighted the set up and role of Civil Defence in the organization. Neeru Puri,, Principal of the School appreciated the role of Civil Defence in spreading awareness about disaster management and rescue. Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden Civil Defence, Jammu, R. Vijay Magotra, Dy. Chief Warden Civil Defence, Jammu, Ram Dayal Saini, Sub-Inspector, In-charge Trainings Civil Defence and other staff of the School were present on the occasion. |
