AKHNOOR, Nov 15: MLA Mohan Lal of Akhnoor inaugurated the macadamization work for the Link Road to Baba Jio Nath Ji in Dhok under the City & Town Development Head. The Rs 14 lakh project, covering a stretch of 700 meters, aims to improve road connectivity for the residents of Panchayat Dhok Khalsa.
The event was attended by key dignitaries, including Bhushan Bral, Member of the District Development Council, Mandal President Manga Ram, former Sarpanches Varinder Bhagat and Kali Dass, local leader Thakur Dass, and Public Works Department officials AEE Ashish Bhasin and JE Devinder Kumar.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Mohan Lal emphasized his dedication to the development of Akhnoor, stating, "This road is a vital link for the people of Dhok Khalsa, and its upgradation will enhance connectivity and overall infrastructure. My focus remains on improving roadways, education, healthcare, and employment opportunities for all residents."
