Gloom set to end
7/20/2020 11:46:47 PM
After a gloom of nearly six months, there is a possibility about new dawn breaking out as Russia is claiming that it has found the vaccine for COVID-19 and the clinical trials have been successful.
Entire world is waiting for COVID cure and everyone wants to believe that whatever Russia is claiming is true. Experts and medicos have already declared that life won’t return to normal till the vaccine appears.
Russians are claiming that this vaccine will guard the people against COVID-19 for 2-years. And mechanism is being worked out to dispatch these vaccines across the globe.
The COVID is at its peak in India, on Monday 40,000 cases were reported and the tally of positive cases has already crossed 11 lakh mark in the country. The death toll has mounted to 27, 497.
The Redmisvir drug which can treat COVID is not easily available and people are struggling to get it from an open market. The only silver lining which has appeared during all these months is that 7,00,086 people, according to the Union Health Ministry, have recovered in India and the number of positive cases stands at 3,09,627.
If one goes by the population of our country the mortality rate is not that high and to a great extent India has succeeded in managing COVID-19 crisis.
The pandemic has hit everyone hard. The economic slowdown has snatched the livelihood of so many people. Everyone is looking towards scientists to find the cure so that they can restart their lives. The ICMR recently stated that human trials of COVID vaccines have commenced in India and if all goes well by September month breakthrough can be achieved.
Efforts are on at every level to end the COVID-19 pandemic. Researchers and scientists are hopeful that gloom will end soon and world will move again. At present virus is ruling the world but its rule is likely to end in coming days. People have to understand that they have to save themselves for just two or three months more as the world is very close at issuing the death warrant against coronavirus which has taken so many lives till date.
Till the vaccine comes we have to stick to our basics like wearing masks, maintaining social distancing and using sanitizers. Precautions only can save us till the cure comes.
