| Apni Party-PC likely to provide alternative to NC, PDP in Valley | | |

jammu, Jan 29: After dumping the Peoples' Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD), the Peoples' Conference is likely enter into alliance with Apni Party to provide an alternative of the National Conference (NC) and PDP in the Valley.
Reliable sources leadership of Peoples' Conference has realized that soon or latter PDP would also come out of the PAGD so it is better to form an alliance with Apni Party to provide an alternative in the Valley before the next Assembly election.
"PDP and NC are unlikely to contest next Assembly elections so Peoples' Conference leadership is seriously mulling over forming third front to face these two Kashmir centric parties", sources said and revealed that some leaders, who have joined PC, are also trying to convince party chief Sajjad Lone not to have any understanding with NC or PDP.
PC is predominantly a North Kashmir centric party while as Apni Party has presence in most parts of the Valley so electoral understanding between two parties are not going to clash each other's interests. |
