| Ditched, pot-holed Katra-Reasi road mocks at admin’s claims of development | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 16: Despite the claims of development by the Jammu & Kashmir administration the situation on the ground speaks about under development or less development and that too in areas which are strategically located or are located near the district headquarters. Despite being important the road connecting Reasi town with the holy town of Katra is in shambles with scores of ditches and pot-holes marking their presence along the route. The presence of ditches as well as pot-holes has compounded the problems for the people who travel by the same on foot or with the help of different means of transport. During the winter season and the rainy season the problems of the people get aggravated since the rain water gets collected in the ditches as well as pot-holes. As such it gets difficult for the people to move around be it the pedestrian or motorist. The pedestrians have to walk carefully and they have to ensure that the dirty water of the ditches and the pot-holes does not damage their clothes. The motorists have to drive their vehicles carefully so that no damage whatsoever is done to their particular vehicles. |
