Kabir Sabha holds general body meeting for election of president

Jammu, Jan 1: A meeting of JK-UT, General body of All J&K Sadguru Kabir Sabha comprising Distt President/Block President and other prominent personalities of the Sabha was held on 01.01.2023 at Kabir Bhawan, Chak Avtara, Bishnah. Agenda of the meeting was to finalize the dates for the upcoming election for the post of President of the Sabha & the arrangements for this year Kabir Nirwan Divas.
The election committee finalised the dates of election for the post of President of the Sabha as the tenure of the sitting body is already completed as per the constitution of the sabha. The election for the post of President and General Secretary shall be conducted on 22.01.2023 at Kabir Bhawan, Chak Avtara Bishnah. The Chairman of election committee requested and appealed to all the members of biradhri of Jammu and Kashmir to come forward and participate in large, for electing their President and General Secretary on the scheduled date and time at the said venue. Other Office bearers shall be appointed by the President after General Election of Sabha. The general election of Sabha is to be conducted for giving opportunity to all members to elect the Person of their choice for the better upliftment of the community and overall development of the society in general. This is purely a Socio- religious organization working in almost all the districts of Jammu province to watch and ward the interest of whole Community under the banner of Our “Sadguru Kabir Sahib Ji”.
F C Bhagat, President of the Sabha also greeted the members and put forth the agenda for deliberations and after through discussion, it was unanimously decided that this year Kabir Nirwan Divas shall be observed on 12.02.2023. Besides some children from J&K who participated in National and International singing & dancing competition held in Mumbai & Nepal were also greeted and felicitated by the Sabha. Mr. Satish Bhagat who represented India in the International competition held in Nepal and awarded with 3rd position was also sponsored by the Sabha.
Prominent personalities of the sabha who attended & gave their view points on the occasion were G.R Bhagat (IAS Retd) Sr’ Vice President of the Sabha, Garu Bhagat, DDC Member (EX-MLA), Bodh Raj (S.E PHE), Manhor Lal, General secretary, Tirth Ram, Dr. OM Bhardwaj, Dr Gurdass Bhagat Chairman, Litigation committee, R K Bhagat, Surinder Bhagat, Subhas Bhagat, Ashwani Kumar & ors.
