GDC Kathua students excel in one-day hands-on Physics Workshop Skills | | | Early Times Report KATHUA, Mar 24: In a bid to align with the objectives outlined in the New Education Policy (NEP-2020) and promote skill-oriented learning, students from the Physics Department of Government Degree College (Boys), Kathua, showcased exceptional prowess during a one-day hands-on training workshop on Physics Workshop Skills held at Government Polytechnic College, Kathua. Conceived jointly by the Physics Department of Government Degree College (Boys), Kathua, and Government Polytechnic College, Kathua, the technical event aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications inherent in the study of physics. Under the academic curriculum mandated by Jammu University as per NEP-2020, the workshop provided students with valuable insights into real-world physics experiments and demonstrations. Professor Seema Mir, the esteemed Principal of GDC (Boys), Kathua, lauded the students for their active participation in skill-based training workshops. She emphasized the significance of hands-on training in enabling students to apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios effectively.
