Hands-on advanced excel workshop at Jaypee University of Information Technology

SOLAN, July 24: The Institution's Innovation Council (IIC), in collaboration with the Technology Incubation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (TIEDC) and IEEE JUIT SB, successfully organized a three-day hands-on workshop on Advanced Excel at Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Solan. Held from July 15 to 17, 2024, in CL9, the workshop was led by Dr. Vikas Baghel from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
The workshop saw the enthusiastic participation of 45 members from various departments, who were keen to enhance their proficiency in advanced Excel. Dr. Vikas Baghel, an expert in the field, guided the participants through the intricate functionalities of Excel, providing them with practical, efficient skills that are applicable across numerous professional domains.
The primary aim of this workshop was to empower participants with advanced Excel skills, enabling them to handle complex data tasks more effectively and improve their decision-making processes. This intensive training covered specialized techniques beyond the basics, providing significant value to individuals and organizations alike. Participants learned how to leverage Excel as a powerful tool for data analysis, decision-making, and operational efficiency in today's data-driven world.
The workshop not only enhanced the participants' technical skills but also emphasized the importance of data proficiency in professional settings. By the end of the three days, attendees were equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to utilize Excel to its full potential, making them more competent and confident in managing and analyzing data.
The successful completion of this workshop marks a significant step forward in JUIT's ongoing commitment to providing high-quality education and professional development opportunities. The collaboration between IIC, TIEDC, and IEEE JUIT SB continues to foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the university community.
